Fascinated by foreign countries and cultures, seven years ago I found myself in one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Cape Town. As a well-behaved girl at the time, I came here to volunteer and help care for wild cats. Surrounded by lions, leopards, and cheetahs, I quickly discovered my own wild side and began to devote myself fully to my volunteer work in more ways than just caring for the animals. I found fulfillment in the exciting wilderness and my new lifestyle, and I knew for sure: I'm staying. From now on, I am a Capetonian.
